Dubbed ‘A Legendary Slice’, Buzzfeed activated a 2-week pop-up in a LES trendy pizza restaurant for the New York Knicks and Chase. Responsibilities included acquiring the venue, negotiating the location fee, VIP management (Raekwon, Leikeli47, Run DMC) and day-of support for each evening’s events.
OSCAR MAYER HOT DOG WEDDING
Contracted by Buzzfeed, organized the creation, delivery and installation of hand-painted art for a ‘pop-up’ hot dog themed wedding in Long Island City. Dipped into my well of collaborators to get a project from concept to completion in less than 72 hours.
Mile 9 New York City Marathon Party
Since 2003, a group of friends (myself as host) have thrown together a marathon party in Brooklyn. The party has grown significantly over those 16 years getting mentions in CN TRAVELER and this year, a full write-up in the NY TIMES. The party is a massive effort coordinated for a full week prior, attracting over 200+ guests. An official ‘spectator spot’ of the New York Roadrunners and the best day of the year.
Ca$h Cat$ Benefit Party
At the height of Tumblr’s popularity, I produced an event based on a viral blog called CashCats.biz. We coordinated over 20 artists, 500 RSVPs, sponsorships, and managed the venue from acquisition through contracts and wrap-out. Written up both in the Wall Street Journal and VICE
